 Since 1999, HELI AIR SERVICES operates primarily on humanitarian and peace keeping missions of the UN and UN World Food Program, where we proved to be a reliable carrier, having performed many thousands of flight hours at hostile and difficult areas  and regions such as  Angola, Kenya, East Timur, Guinea, Mozambique, Ivory Coast, Sierra Leone, Pakistan, Sudan, Afghanistan and others.

Specialized services such as aviation:

• Air transport of passengers, cargo and mail.
• Aviation services for humanitarian and peacekeeping operations customized to the specific needs and conditions that are imposed by the UN mission
• Business and private charter flights
• Transportation of dangerous goods
• Firefighting, including Forest Fire Management

Ground maintenance of aircraft and services

HELI AIR SERVICES is certified by the Bulgarian CAA according to National and European legislation as Air Operator and posses the following valid certificates:

•       Air Operator Certificate
•       Air Operator's Certificate № BG 04 aircraft type L-410
•       Air Operator's Certificate № BG AW 227 helicopters of Mi-8

HELI AIR has its own offices and apron located at Sofia Airport North

Hangars, warehouses, workshops and specialized equipment for the maintenance of helicopters and aircraft 

Laboratories supplied with the relevant equipment for testing

The control and overall supervision of HELI AIR activities as well as the compliance with the procedures and documentary requirements is provided by:

•       Safety Management System
•       BCAA by means of inspections of operations and maintenance
•       EASA audits
•       Other external audits
